Patty Melt 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (𝟮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀): Patties: 450g (1 lb) lean ground beef (90–93% lean) 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder ½ tsp smoked paprika Salt & black pepper Sandwich: 4 slices sourdough bread 4 slices reduced-fat provolone cheese 2 slices reduced-fat cheddar cheese 1 large onion, thinly sliced 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp olive oil 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional) Cooking spray 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 1. Season the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Divide into 2 thin patties. 2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Set aside. 3. In the same skillet, cook the sliced onions with butter over medium heat for 12–15 minutes until deeply caramelized. Stir in Worcestershire sauce if using. 4. Lightly butter one side of each bread slice. 5. Assemble each sandwich: Bread Provolone Beef patty Caramelized onions Cheddar Bread 6. Grill over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until the bread is crispy and golden and the cheese is completely melted. 7. Slice in half and serve immediately.
